Socrate/Erasmus is the program of communitarian action in instruction matter.

SOCRATES is based on articles 149 and 150 of the Treaty on the European Union. According to the article the 149 Communities "contribute to the development of an instruction of quality" by means of a range o factions to realize in tight collaboration with the States members.

Program SOCRATES/ERASMUS moreover is connected with articles articles 126 and 127 of the Treaty on the European Union (Dealt of Maastricht). According to the article the 126 Communities "contribute to the development of an instruction of quality" by means of a range of actions to carry out in tight collaboration with the States members. Such actions comprise the development of one "European dimension" of the instruction, supporting, in particular, the improvement of the instruction of the languages, the encouragement of mobility of teaching students and, the improvement of the acknowledgment of the studies carries out in the other Countries participants to you, one greater collaboration in the field of the instruction at a distance, and a more intense exchange of information and of experiences on the systems of instruction in the within of the entire Union.

Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Spain, France, Ireland, Italy, Lussemburgo, Low Countries, Austria, Portugal, Finland, Sweden and United Kingdom.

Islanda, Liechtenstein, Norway;

Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Lettonia, Lituania, Polonia, Rumania, Slovakia and Slovenia Cyprus, Malta and Turkey.

to promote the cooperation and mobility in the field of the instruction, in particular stimulating exchanges between instruction institutes;
 
encouraging the Open Instruction and at a distance;
 
encouraging contacts between students in the European Union and to promote the European dimension of their instruction;
 
perfecting the systems of academic acknowledgment of diplomas and the periods of study, and other qualifications, in order to facilitate the development and the European cooperation;
 
developing the exchange of information, and to contribute to remove the existing obstacles;
 
to encourage the didactic innovation in the development of methodologies and materials us, let alone to examine regarding issues of common interest politics in instruction matter. 1 Decision n. 253/2000/CE of the European Parliament and the 24 Council of January 2000, Official gazette of the European Communities n. The duration of the study grant comes established from the teaching coordinator in agreement with the other University European participants at the moment of launches of every contracted. The duration can vary from a minimum of three months to a maximum of twelve months.

1) To be city of one be member of the UE or possession obtained officially from one be member of the UE the charter of refugee or stateless person or permanent resident;

2) to be enrolled to course of bachelor or diploma course of bachelor of the University;

3) completed Aver the first year of university studies or to been rolled to Fine Schools Directed to Special, to Course of improvement, to Schools of Specialization or doctorates of search;

4) Enrolled to Advanced Institutes for the Artistic Industries;

5) Enrolled to Advanced Schools Interpreters and Translators;

6) To have in the study plan the course that agrees to follow near the foreign University and for which will demand the acknowledgment;

7) not to have benefitted of other Erasmus/ contributions Language (Action II) in the previous years;

8) at the same time not to enjoy of other ags or contributions it finances to you from the UE;

9) the awardees of the Socrates contribution before the departure will have to turn out enrolled to the academic year in course and they will not be able to achieve the title it of final study before having concluded the period of study to the foreign country.
The graduated ones can also participate to the Program, if enrolled to Schools of specialization or Doctorates of search.

The Socrates Program, Erasmus action, it is a plan of the European Community that previews scholarships to students so that they can carry out part of just the university curriculum in the University of an other European country, with the full load and integral acknowledgment of the programs.

Is moreover previewed the allocation of an integrating contribution from part of the University for deserving students and with reference to the economic condition of the familiar nucleus.

The students with handicap can receive financings ad hoc.
